My sport life.

3 years ago, the girls from the red crescent society said I was a disgrace to the guys. Coz I couldn't even complete a single push up. So I quitted that society and focused in volleyball. It wasn't easy. The training was hardcore, especially for a computer nerd + overweight me. The levels of my teammates were at state level. Almost everyone of them represented the state once. I actually started volleyball at the age of 14, but I trained once in a month, so that didn't count. I really dedicated myself to volleyball during the 2 months before 2009 which was 2 months before I reached age 15. One thing I'll never forget was that during all the exercises, I'll always be the last. No matter what. Everyone got used to it too, I was always the last. Too slow, too fat, jump too low, no court sense, pure noob. I became a joke when I told everyone that my dream was to become a state player. My name changed instantly, from Jonathan to Perak(name of my state). Whatever I did, everyone laughs, super humiliating and hurtful to my pride. All I had for volleyball was my height, and my heart. At height 170+ cm, weighing 85kg, and age 15. I started to control my diet. No fast food at all, two scoops of rice per meal, no can drinks. I eat to stop myself from starving, not to feel the satisfaction. Fair enough, those hard work was fruitful, within 3 months I weighed 76kg. For my routines, I did 5-7 days of volleyball training a week, 2.5 hours per session and once a week of gym. The extra push ups, the thousands of skipping rope, the sweats, the humiliations, was really not easy. Those are what it takes to bring me to the top. I have to thank God, He gave me the strength to persevere through the training. I represented my state Perak for volleyball in 2011, after 2 years of training in hell. I got the title of Olahragawan too. Best sportsmen of the year. I achieved the impossible. Next stops #1 Edexcel exams. #2 ripped body.
